Our Sustainability Pillars
Clean Energy & Energy Efficiency
- 17.5% of our energy comes from solar panels
- The remaining 82.5% is supplied by a certified 100% green energy provider
- All lighting has been switched to LED with motion sensors
- Our biomass boiler (pellet-fuelled) is supported by 25 m² of solar panels
- A smart monitoring system helps us work towards energy independence
- Our annual CO2 emissions total just 2,780 kg, which is remarkably low for a hospitality business like ours
Water Conservation & Resource Protection
- We’ve installed EcoSmart taps and mixers with a flow rate of 5 litres per minute
- Dual-flush toilets save up to 4 litres of water per use
- Bed linen and towels are changed weekly or on request
Less Waste, More Awareness
- We use meat trimmings to prepare stock
- Organic waste is redistributed to local vegetable gardens or used to feed animals
- We donate coffee grounds for agricultural use and sell used cooking oil to be recycled
- We separate waste and encourage guests to do the same with welcome kits and clear signage
- We avoid unnecessary packaging by using glass jugs, refillable dispensers, sustainably certified paper and filtered water instead of bottles
- Suppliers collect and reuse containers such as crates, boxes and bags
Ethical, Seasonal and Local Food
- We source cheese from Latte Ledro and cured meats from Macelleria Cis
- We buy local honey, organic and fair trade herbal teas from Pompadour, and Ariva coffee from Omkafè
- Our meat is free range, and we avoid endangered fish species
- Our menu includes traditional dishes and local ingredients such as trout, game, alpine cheeses, and Slow Food Presidia products
- Vegetarian, vegan and intolerance-friendly options are always available
Eco-Friendly & Efficient Products
- Most of our cleaning products are eco-friendly and used sparingly
- We use sustainably certified paper and recycled or reusable containers
- We avoid single-use items and buy in bulk or choose biodegradable packaging
Sustainable Transport
- We’re just 100 metres from the nearest bus stop
- Public transport is free with the Garda Guest Card
- We offer on-site mountain bike hire and discounts with E-Bike Ledro
- We have electric vehicle charging points and parking spaces for e-bikes
Biodiversity & Landscape
- We’ve purchased nearby woodland to enhance carbon capture
- Our green spaces are managed without pesticides, using hedges instead of fences
- We’re pet-friendly
- We promote best practices for interacting with local wildlife
- We support destination guidelines for visits to natural heritage sites, such as the UNESCO-listed Lake Ledro pile dwellings and the local Biosphere Reserve
People First
- We reject all forms of exploitation, harassment or discrimination based on gender, ethnicity, religion or disability.
- We have a Code of Ethics available online
- Our team includes local staff and returning seasonal workers
- We invest in training through the Bilateral Tourism Board and the FOR.TE fund
- We empower staff to independently track and choose the most relevant training courses for them

- Our team receives the Garda Trentino Crew Card, giving them access to more than 140 experiences across the region
Celebrating Local Culture
- We’re proud to support and promote the cultural and historical heritage of the Ledro Valley
- By backing local initiatives, we help strengthen the valley’s identity and build deeper connections between guests and the community
- We support the local community via donations and sponsorships to Pro Loco and local sports teams
- We work with cultural organisations and associations such as La Coccinella (which supports transport for the elderly) and A.P.A.N.
- We promote the Clean Up Days initiative, combining litter picking with a guided visit to the Bezzecca trenches led by an expert from the MART museum, blending participation, environmental awareness and culture

- Our main entrance has been redesigned for easy access
- A lift serves all floors to ensure full mobility
- Two rooms are fully equipped for guests with disabilities, with spacious layouts, bathrooms with accessible showers and mobility aids that comply with regulations
